TEHRAN, Apr 2: Iranian state media reported that a bridge near the city of Karaj was struck twice in a short span during US-Israeli airstrikes, with the second attack occurring after emergency teams had already arrived at the site.

According to state television, the “B1 bridge” in Karaj was initially targeted in an earlier strike that resulted in two civilian casualties. A subsequent strike reportedly hit the same location about an hour later while rescue and emergency response teams were deployed.

The reports said the strikes were carried out in the broader area of Tehran, as tensions in the region continue to escalate, though there has been no independent confirmation of the details provided by Iranian authorities.
