SHARJAH, April 7: A telecommunications facility in the United Arab Emirates was struck on Tuesday by an Iranian ballistic missile, according to authorities, leaving two people injured.
The missile hit an administrative building belonging to the Thuraya Telecommunications Company in Sharjah, the medical office confirmed.
Two Pakistani nationals working at the site sustained injuries in the impact and were taken to hospital for treatment. Officials said the situation is being monitored, and no further details on the extent of damage were immediately released.
Meanwhile, AI-powered technology company Space42 said that all Thuraya system services and infrastructure remain fully operational, with no disruption to services following the incident.
