Iranian Media Reports Explosions in Bandar Abbas

TEHRAN, Jun 1: Iranian media reported that 3 explosions were heard on Monday in the southern port city of Bandar Abbas, raising concern in a key strategic area along the Persian Gulf coastline.

Accounts sent to Iran International reported that the sound of fighter jets was heard over western, eastern and northern Tehran at around 9 a.m. local time on Monday. Separate reports also said three consecutive blasts were heard shortly after in the southern port city of Bandar Abbas at around 9:10 a.m.
