ISLAMABAD, April 25: Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi departed Pakistan on Saturday without holding any meetings with U.S. envoys, according to Pakistani officials.
Two senior officials, speaking on condition of anonymity, confirmed that Araghchi left from an airport near Islamabad after concluding his visit, during which he held talks with top Pakistani leadership.
During his stay, Araghchi met Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Army Chief Asim Munir, along with other senior officials. Discussions reportedly focused on regional developments and Iran’s “red lines” in ongoing negotiations, though no engagement took place with U.S. representatives.
The visit comes amid heightened diplomatic activity surrounding Iran’s negotiations, with regional players closely watching developments.
