Iranian Drone Targets Thuraya Facility in Sharjah

SHARJAH, Mar 30: Authorities in Sharjah announced that the administrative building of Thuraya Telecommunications Company in the Emirate’s Central Region was targeted by an Iranian drone on Monday. Officials said they are currently handling the incident, adding that no injuries have been reported.

The UAE Ministry of Defence confirmed that the situation is under control and safe, thanking residents for their cooperation. Authorities have allowed residents to resume normal activities while advising them to continue taking necessary precautions

Meanwhile, the UAE's Ministry of Defence said its air defences are currently engaging with missiles and UAV drone threats.

The authority asserted that the sounds heard across the country are the result of ongoing engagement operations of missiles and UAV's.
