KUWAIT CITY, June 14: Police have arrested an unidentified individual for assaulting and allegedly stealing 3,800 dinars from an Iranian. According to a security source, the Iranian -- born in 1967 and identified only as K.S. -- filed a complaint with the area police and submitted a medical report stating chest pain and bruising in the right leg.

In his complaint, the Iranian said he was inside at his workplace in Amghara when a coworker knocked on the door of his room and he opened the door, an unidentified person knocked him on the head with a heavy object and stole the money.

The security source added when the co-worker was summoned for investigation he denied the story and said he assaulted the man because of differences at the work place. The case file has been referred to the Public Prosecution.
