WASHINGTON, D.C.: The Commander of the U.S. Central Command, Adm. Brad Cooper, condemned recent attacks by Iranian forces across the Middle East, stating that Iran has attacked 12 different countries and continues to deliberately target civilians.
In a statement released Friday, Adm. Cooper said that Iranian forces fired seven attack drones at civilian residential neighborhoods in Bahrain overnight, calling the actions “unacceptable” and warning that they “will not go unanswered.”
He emphasized that the United States will work closely with regional partners to address threats to innocent people and maintain security across the region. The statement underscores ongoing concerns about Iranian aggression toward civilian populations in the Gulf and broader Middle East.
