KUWAIT CITY, Jan 24: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned the Iranian ambassador to Kuwait, Mohammad Irani, where he met with Deputy Foreign Minister Khaled Al-Jarallah, against the background of the repeated statement by the commander of the Air Force satellite in the Revolutionary Guards in Iran, in which he stated that Ali Al-Salem base in Kuwait participated among other bases in the region in the process that Implemented near Baghdad airport recently reports Al Rai,

Al-Jarallah expressed Kuwait’s resentment and amazement at reiterating such statements again, confirming Kuwait’s categorical denial of the participation of any aircraft launched from Ali Al-Salem base, referring to what was previously denied by the General Staff of the Army in its statement on the participation of any of the Kuwaiti bases in this process.

Al-Jarallah asked the Iranian ambassador to issue from the officials in Iran to clarify the truth of the aforementioned Kuwait position and not to repeat such statements that would harm the relations between the two countries.

The meeting was attended by Assistant Foreign Minister for Asian Affairs, Ambassador Ali Al-Saeed, and Assistant Foreign Minister for Deputy Minister’s Office, Ambassador Ayham Al-Omar.
