Iran Thanks Pakistan for Hosting Dialogue as Army Chief Visits Tehran

TEHRAN, Apr 15: Abbas Araghchi has expressed appreciation to Pakistan for hosting the recent dialogue aimed at easing regional tensions, as Pakistan’s army chief visited Tehran for talks.

In a post on social media platform X, Araghchi said he was “delighted” to welcome Asim Munir to Iran’s capital and noted that the discussions reflected the two countries’ shared commitment to diplomacy and regional stability.

He said Iran valued Pakistan’s role in facilitating dialogue, describing it as a reflection of the “deep and great bilateral relationship” between the two neighbouring countries.
