Iran Says War Can End Only with Guarantees Against Future Attacks

TEHRAN, (AP), Mar 22: Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has urged “independent nations” to increase pressure on both the United States and Israel to halt what he described as ongoing attacks against Iran.

According to the state-run Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA), the top diplomat said any efforts to end the conflict must include firm guarantees that the U.S. and Israel would not launch further attacks on the Islamic Republic.

Araghchi stressed that Iran requires assurances its “sovereignty and national security won’t be violated again,” underscoring Tehran’s conditions for de-escalation.

The remarks were made during a phone conversation on Saturday with Indian External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, IRNA reported.

The comments come amid heightened regional tensions, with diplomatic efforts continuing to prevent further escalation.
