Iran says US strikes hit sites in Hormozgan province

TEHRAN, July 14: Iranian authorities said several locations in Hormozgan province, including Qeshm Island, Bandar Abbas and Hengam Island, were struck by what they described as US projectiles on Tuesday.

The IRGC-affiliated Tasnim News Agency reported that further details would be released following initial assessments. Hormozgan provincial authorities said there were no reports of civilian casualties or damage to residential or commercial infrastructure after the strikes.

Earlier, US strikes were reported at multiple locations across Iran over the past hour, including Ahvaz, Behbahan, Sirik, Qeshm Island and Bandar Abbas, according to Iranian media and regional reports.

Iranian authorities have not yet released details on the extent of the damage or possible casualties. Assessments of the reported strikes are ongoing.
