TEHRAN, Jul 21: Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed Tuesday that it launched several cruise missiles at what it described as Amazon's central data infrastructure in Bahrain, saying the facility was destroyed in the attack.

In a statement, the IRGC said the strike was carried out in retaliation for US attacks on Monday targeting sites under construction at Iran's Darkhoveyn nuclear power plant in the country's southwest.

The claim comes amid rapidly escalating hostilities between Iran and the United States, with key military and infrastructure sites increasingly being targeted across the region. There has been no immediate confirmation from Bahraini authorities, Amazon, or US officials regarding the alleged strike or the reported damage. Independent verification of the IRGC's claim was not immediately available.
