TEHRAN, Apr 7: Multiple infrastructure sites across Iran were struck in separate attacks on Tuesday, according to Iranian state media reports, with incidents reported in the northwest, central region, and along the Gulf coast.
A bridge on the Tabriz–Zanjan Highway in northwestern Iran was hit in an attack attributed by Iranian media to U.S. and Israeli forces. Authorities did not immediately provide details on casualties or the extent of damage.
Separately, state media said a strike targeted the Yahyaabad railway bridge near Kashan in central Iran, killing two people and injuring three others, according to Isfahan province’s deputy governor.
In a third incident, Iranian state media reported that Kharg Island was struck on Tuesday, with several explosions heard on the strategic island, which is a major hub for Iran’s oil exports.
Authorities have not independently verified the full extent of the damage, while the reports come amid the continued escalation of strikes on Iranian infrastructure across multiple regions.
