Iran Rejects U.S. Claims, Says Hidden Military Stockpiles Remain Intact

TEHRAN (AP), Apr 2: Iranian officials on Thursday dismissed recent remarks by U.S. President Donald Trump, with a presidential spokesman describing the speech as “insane” and insisting it had strengthened national unity.

Elias Hazrati, speaking on Iranian state television, said Trump’s comments “boosted our nation’s integrity” and added that Iran was “managing the Strait of Hormuz powerfully,” amid escalating regional tensions.

Separately, an Iranian military spokesman claimed Tehran retains hidden stockpiles of weapons and munitions despite ongoing strikes. Lt. Col. Ebrahim Zolfaghari of the Khatam Al-Anbiya Central Headquarters said Iran’s strategic military production was taking place in undisclosed locations beyond the reach of adversaries.

His remarks come as Israel and the United States have carried out extensive strikes in recent weeks targeting military bases, missile launchers, and other infrastructure across Iran-linked sites.

While Iranian missile launches have reportedly decreased, officials maintain that Tehran still retains the capability to conduct attacks.
