Iran Ready to Consider Proposals to End U.S.-Israeli War, Says Foreign Minister

TEHRAN, Mar 15: Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said Tehran is prepared to consider any proposal that includes a “complete end” to what he described as the U.S.-Israeli war against the Islamic Republic, according to an interview with the London-based Arab daily Al-Araby Al-Jadeed.

Araghchi said mediation efforts by several of Iran’s neighboring countries are underway to help de-escalate tensions and present ideas aimed at ending the conflict, though he did not indicate whether any progress has been achieved so far.

The Iranian foreign minister also maintained that Tehran’s attacks on targets in neighboring Arab states were limited to U.S. bases and assets. He added that Iran is ready to establish a joint committee with neighboring countries to investigate those incidents.
