LONDON, Apr 19: A group with alleged links to Iran has claimed responsibility for an arson attack on a building in north London previously used by a Jewish educational organization, raising fresh security concerns amid heightened regional tensions.

The property in Hendon, which still bore signage for Jewish Futures, was targeted in the attack. Authorities confirmed that no injuries were reported.

According to The Times, the group identifying itself as Harakat Ashab al-Yamin al-Islamiya (HAYI) claimed it carried out the incident. British police are now examining whether the organization operates as a front for Iranian security services.

The group has also circulated videos online referencing other recent incidents in London, including a reported arson attack on a synagogue in Finchley, a suspected drone-related threat near the Israeli Embassy in London, and an attack on the offices of Iran International.

HAYI has previously claimed responsibility for similar attacks in Belgium and the Netherlands, prompting wider scrutiny from European security agencies.
