TEL AVIV, Mar 24: Israel Defense Forces reported that Iran launched dozens of missiles on the first two days of the ongoing conflict, though the number “dropped quickly” due to Israeli strikes on military headquarters, launch sites, and missile production facilities in Iran, according to military spokesman Brig. Gen. Effie Defrin.

Defrin said additional waves of strikes on Iranian targets were carried out on Tuesday. Despite the reduction in volume, Iran has accelerated missile launches, forcing millions of Israelis into shelters multiple times a day. Some recent interceptions failed, resulting in casualties.

Rescue authorities released images showing extensive damage to a residential building in Bnei Brak, east of Tel Aviv, where one man was moderately injured and a 7-year-old boy and 80-year-old woman sustained minor injuries. Damage was reported at seven other locations across central Israel.

Tuesday marked the 12th Iranian missile barrage targeting Israel, while rockets fired from Lebanon kept air raid sirens active in northern Israel and killed at least one woman.
