Iran Ambassador Meets Four Nationals Detained in Kuwait

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 18: Iran’s ambassador to Kuwait, Mohammad Toutounchi, met four Iranian nationals who have been detained in Kuwait for three months, the Iranian Embassy posted on X. The meeting followed coordination efforts with Kuwait’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Interior, during which the ambassador was briefed on the detainees’ health and latest condition. The meeting came days after an Iranian military official accused Kuwait of withholding information about the fate of the four detainees.
