Iran allows longer operating hours at key Tehran airports

TEHRAN, May 19: Tehran’s two main airports have expanded their daily operating hours, allowing a broader flight schedule for both domestic and international services, Iran’s Civil Aviation Organisation said on Tuesday.

The new directive applies to Mehrabad International Airport and Imam Khomeini International Airport, which will now operate from 4:30am to 9:30pm. According to a spokesman for the Iran Civil Aviation Organisation, all scheduled domestic and international flights are permitted within the revised time window under the latest aviation notice.
