Investigations Launched Into Suicide Deaths of Egyptian and Indian Expats

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 22: Two expatriates died in separate suicide incidents reported in the Hawalli and Capital governorates, prompting security authorities to launch investigations to determine the circumstances surrounding both cases.

In the first incident, an Egyptian expatriate committed suicide by jumping from a building in Hawalli Governorate. Upon receiving the report, security patrols and ambulance teams rushed to the scene and found the man dead. Forensic investigators recovered the body and transferred it for the completion of legal and medical procedures, while a case was registered.

In a separate case in the Capital Governorate, an Indian expatriate was found to have committed suicide by hanging himself inside his sponsor’s residence. Security team immediately arrived at the scene, and the incident was documented in an official report.

Authorities have begun investigations into both incidents to determine the reasons and circumstances leading to the deaths. Relevant individuals have been summoned for questioning as part of the ongoing inquiries.
