KUWAIT CITY, Dec 10: Security personnel in Al-Ahmadi Governorate have arrested a young man and a woman who were found behaving abnormally while walking on one of the main highways in the area.
According to a security source who spoke to Alseyassah / Arab Times, a patrol unit noticed the pair during a routine inspection. The officers became suspicious after observing the man and woman walking in the middle of the highway in an unusual and unsafe manner, posing a potential danger to themselves and other road users.
Upon stopping the two individuals and verifying their identities, security personnel determined that both were intoxicated. Further checks revealed that the young man was wanted by authorities to serve a pending prison sentence.
The source confirmed that both individuals were immediately taken into custody and referred to the relevant authorities to complete the necessary legal procedures.
