KUWAIT CITY, Jan 1: On Wednesday, December 31, 2025, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Major General Abdul Wahab Al-Wahib, accompanied by several senior security officials, conducted an inspection tour of several security checkpoints, markets, shopping malls, and other vital locations.
During the tour, the Undersecretary reviewed the operational readiness of security forces, security deployment mechanisms, and traffic management measures. He was also briefed on the security arrangements at locations experiencing high visitor traffic, the effectiveness of technical surveillance and monitoring systems, and the level of coordination with operations rooms. Observations and potential security gaps were identified to ensure they are addressed and incorporated into future security plans and deployments.
Major General Abdul Wahab Al-Wahib commended the efforts of security personnel across all sites, praising their discipline, dedication, and commitment to duty. He noted that their performance reflects a high level of professionalism and responsibility in carrying out security tasks.
He emphasized the need to maintain heightened security readiness and vigilance while ensuring that citizens and residents receive respectful and courteous treatment. He reaffirmed that the safety of all remains a top priority for the Ministry of Interior and stressed the importance of continued field inspections to further enhance security and stability.
