Interior Ministry denies new system to monitor communications and social media

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 15: The Ministry of Interior has denied reports circulating on social media claiming that Kuwait has introduced a new system to monitor communications, phone calls and social media platforms.

In a statement, the ministry said the information being circulated regarding the alleged monitoring system is false and has no basis in fact.

The ministry urged the public to exercise caution and accuracy when sharing information, warning against circulating unverified or unreliable reports.

It also called on the public to rely on official sources for accurate information and updates.
