Interior Ministry continues to flush out drug dealers, immoral activities

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 28: Under the guidance of Acting Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, Sheikh Talal Al-Khaled, the Ministry of Interior continues its determined efforts to crack down on drug dealers, alcohol peddlers, and establishments promoting vice within the country, reports Al-Qabas daily.
In a recent operation, the Criminal Investigation Department arrested 30 individuals across 15 separate cases, charged with engaging in vice activities and violating public morals, for monetary gains in Mahboula, Mangaf, Salmiya, and Hawalli.
The Ministry of Interior released a statement, affirming that these arrests were a result of meticulous monitoring and tracking of social media platforms and massage parlors advertising vice-related activities. The accused have been referred to the appropriate authorities for necessary legal actions.
In this regards the Interior Ministry in 16 separate incidents have confiscated 11 kilograms of various drugs, including hashish, shabu, chemicals, marijuana, heroin, and cocaine, in addition to 15,000 psychotropic pills, 5 liters of GHB, 71 bottles of alcohol (foreign and local made), two firearms, and money believed to be proceeds from illicit sales.
