KUWAIT CITY, Nov 25: As part of its ongoing efforts to promote a transparent and well-regulated business environment that safeguards public interest, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry has intensified its market monitoring campaigns.
Inspection teams conducted thorough checks across markets, maintenance workshops, and car showrooms, uncovering a total of ten violations that infringed on consumer rights and breached commercial regulations. Among the violations detected were the improper disposal of used tires, non-compliance with vehicle glass tinting standards, and failure by several suppliers to display information in Arabic on products, packaging, and display areas.
Additional violations included irregularities related to sports car exhaust systems and the absence of clearly posted warranty schedules for new, refurbished, and used spare parts.
Violation reports were issued against the offending establishments, and legal action has been taken to ensure compliance with the regulations and protect consumer rights.
