KUWAIT CITY, Aug 26: Kuwait’s Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi met with ministry leaders to review major projects and initiatives scheduled to be officially announced in mid-September, the Ministry of Information said Monday.
The meeting discussed the national project “Leadership by Will,” which aims to highlight Kuwait’s heritage and achievements across the past, present, and future, reflecting the role of Kuwaiti will in achieving leadership in various fields.
It also covered the new brand identity and program lineup for the ministry’s news channel, set to launch in early October, as part of efforts to enhance media professionalism, improve television content, and meet public aspirations in line with modern media developments.
Officials further reviewed the features of the “Visit Kuwait” platform, which seeks to boost tourism as a pillar of the national economy and revitalize the cultural and entertainment sector. The platform’s cooperation with various agencies was presented, along with its marketing strategy focused on digital communication tools and social media to strengthen the visibility of tourism activities in Kuwait.
The ministry stressed that partnership with the private sector represents a key element in implementing these projects by leveraging expertise and investments in media, artistic, and technical production. Such collaboration will contribute to developing media infrastructure, raising output quality, supporting the national economy, and creating new opportunities for Kuwaiti youth in media and creativity.
The statement added that the meeting comes within the framework of the ministry’s approach to employing media in the service of comprehensive development, combining community advancement, media content development, and promotion of Kuwait’s tourism and cultural status in line with the goals of Kuwait Vision 2035.
