Industries and Construction Expo to support economy: Al-Sabeeh – Event aimed at supporting Kuwait’s industry, national products

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 17: Deputy Chairman and CEO of National Industries Co, Dr Adel, Al-Sabeeh asserted that the Industries and Construction Exhibition is considered a national annual event aimed at supporting local industry and national products, pointing out that the success of exhibition during the past five years affirm the trust of the companies and competent authorities in this major event.

This was reported in a press statement for Al-Sabeeh on the occasion of the announcement of the launch of the sixth session of the exhibition, organized by both National Industries & Expo-Taj for Exhibitions and Conferences under the auspices of the Minister of State for Housing Affairs Yasser Abul, from Dec 5-8, 2016 at Jumeirah Messilah Hotel — Kuwait, with the participation of over 60 private and public entity.

Al-Sabeeh said that the objective of the exhibition accomplished in the previous sessions are in line with the vision of his Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah the Amir, which emphasizes the importance of achieving industrial and economic revival in Kuwait and encourage industrial development, including the construction and housing sector.

Al-Sabeeh added that the Industries and Construction exhibition comes as a continuation of the role played by the National Industries Company regarding the manufacturing of construction materials, and using modern methods that saves as much energy as possible, such as thermal insulation of buildings, energy-saving lighting and solar energy lamps, in line with the government approach as part of the rationalization of consumption and the economic reform process of the State.

Furthermore, he explained that the exhibition seeks to introduce to the public, the latest developments of construction materials, especially the beneficiaries of the housing care provided by the State, and provide all that is needed in the construction phases. The Industries and Construction 6th Exhibition aims to achieve its goals through a set of strategies, said Al-Sabeeh.

Mainly supporting Kuwaiti products through quality, price, and discounts competition and sophisticated display style, show of modern methods of energy-saving and the amount of savings realized for the State of Kuwait and its citizens, in addition to communicating with the Federation of GCC Chambers of Commerce by inviting them to attend the exhibition, consistent with the government’s approach to creating investment and export opportunities for region businessmen.

Moreover, he pointed out that Industries and Construction exhibition was able to confirm the important role it plays in supporting this sector, as the largest local gathering for construction, décor specialists from the private and public sectors, as the exhibition has sponsorships and participation from various relevant government authorities, as well as the presence of a group of specialized companies that provide the latest and finest products related to the construction process, in line with the taste of the Kuwaiti citizen; in addition to the participation and support of a number of local banks in the event offering its best housing related services.
