India's PM Modi Conveys President Murmu’s Eid Greetings, India Condemns Attacks on Kuwait

KUWAIT CITY, March 18: Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, held a phone call with Kuwait’s Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah on Wednesday, extending Eid Al-Fitr greetings on behalf of Indian President Droupadi Murmu to Kuwait’s leadership.

During the call, Modi conveyed wishes for Kuwait’s continued progress, prosperity, and stability, while also reaffirming India’s strong condemnation of recent Iranian attacks on Kuwaiti territory, describing them as a violation of sovereignty and international law. He emphasized India’s full support for all measures taken by Kuwait to safeguard its security.

The Crown Prince, in turn, conveyed the greetings of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to President Murmu and expressed appreciation for India’s solidarity, highlighting the depth of bilateral ties between the two countries. (KUNA) —
