KUWAIT CITY, Nov 10: An Indian nurse died and three others as well as a Kuwaiti woman sustained injuries when the vehicle driven by the latter crashed into a van transporting nurses at the intersection of Sixth Ring Road and King Fahad Expressway.
According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information that a vehicle crashed into a van and toppled, securitymen and paramedics rushed to the location. They discovered that one of the nurses had died and three others were injured.
The corpse was referred to the Forensics Department, and the injured victims were referred to Adan Hospital where two of the nurses were admitted in the Intensive Care Unit in serious condition.
Meanwhile, the Kuwaiti woman was pulled out from the toppled vehicle and referred to Adan Hospital also for treatment. The vehicles were removed from the road and traffic was organized. A case was registered for investigations.
Meanwhile, a Kuwaiti citizen in his 20s died when he fell from his motorbike in Abu Halifa area. The corpse was referred to the Forensics Department. Traffic accidents that occurred in various parts of the country in the last ten days resulted in the death of 15 individuals. The average rate of death cases due to traffic accidents this year has increased drastically.
