Indian mugged; Expat Doctor robbed

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 25: An unidentified Indian has filed a complaint with the Fintas Police Station accusing ‘someone’ of stealing his money, reports Al-Rai daily. In his complaint to the police the man said he was on his way home and the suspect stopped him, threatened him and stole KD 120. Police are looking for the suspect.

Gun, bullets seized: Director of Airport Investigations Department Captain Abdullah Al-Malek has referred a Kuwaiti to the Jleeb Al- Shuyoukh Police Station for attempting to smuggle a gun and five round of ammunition out of the country, reports Al-Anba daily. The daily did not give more details.

Expat doctor robbed: An expatriate doctor has filed a complaint with the Hawally Police Station accusing an unidentified person of breaking into his house and stealing KD 4,500 and travel tickets, reports Al-Anba daily. Personnel from Criminal Evidences Department have been summoned to lift the fingerprints.

Woman threatened: A Kuwaiti woman has filed a complaint with a police station accusing her same nationality husband of threatening to stab her with a knife, reports Al-Anba daily. The incident happened in Jahra and according to the complainant the main cause of the fight was family problems. ❑

Generator stolen: The Jahra police have arrested three thieves for threatening the guard of a camp and stealing a power generator and other valuables, reports Al-Rai daily. The suspects have been handed over to the concerned authorities. During interrogation they have admitted to the crime. Meanwhile, a Kuwaiti has filed a complaint with the police accusing an unidentified person of making him a threatening call, reports Al-Rai daily. Police are looking for the suspect.

Paramedics hurt: The driver and a paramedic who were injured when their vehicle overturned at an unidentified location have been admitted to the intensive care unit of the Adan Hospital, reports Al-Shahed daily. The cause of the accident is not known.
