Indian male nurse assaults Kuwaiti patient

KUWAIT CITY, April 29: An unidentified Indian male nurse has been detained at the Central Prison for allegedly assaulting a Kuwaiti man, reports Al-Rai daily.

The daily said the arrest came after the victim’s wife filed a complaint with the Adan police accusing the suspect of assaulting her husband.

In her complaint she told the police her husband suffered a stroke four years ago and was unaware what is happening around him and the suspect instead of being humble and merciful assaulted the man taking advantage of his situation.

The suspect is said to have admitted to the charge and a case of negligence in the care of a helpless person, assault and beating has been filed against him
