Indian expat mugged in Jleeb

KUWAIT CITY, June 4:An Indian expatriate lodged a complaint with officers at Jleeb Shuyoukh Police Station against two people in sports wear who attacked, assaulted and stole his mobile phone plus KD 30 cash. He provided the officers with details of the suspects, and investigation is ongoing to arrest them.
Meanwhile, an Asian expatriate was referred to the Farwaniya Hospital amid injury he sustained in his head during a fight with a person whose identity is yet-to-be disclosed
‘Drifter’ arrested: A Kuwaiti citizen was arrested for driving his SUV recklessly and dangerously in Ahmadi area. According to security sources, Ahmadi securitymen were patrolling Ahmadi area when they noticed a man performing stunts with his 4WD at a roundabout, which resulted in traffic congestion. When securitymen ordered him to pull over, he ignored them and sped off but he was chased and eventually caught. They checked his details and discovered he is a Kuwaiti citizen. He was arrested and taken to the police station of the area while his vehicle was referred to the seized-vehicle garage.
