KUWAIT CITY, Dec 1: The Ministry of Interior has initiated an investigation into an attempted murder in the Al-Qasr area.
A security source reported that officers stationed at the security checkpoint of Al-Jahra Hospital received a notification two days earlier regarding the admission of an injured man of Asian nationality. Responding immediately, security personnel proceeded to the intensive care unit, where they identified the victim as an Indian national. In his initial statement, he told investigators that he had been severely beaten and that an attempt had been made to slit his throat by individuals known to him.
Legal procedures are currently underway, and investigations continue to uncover the details of the attack and to apprehend those responsible.
