KUWAIT CITY, Aug 31: Jahra detectives have referred an Indian expatriate to the Public Prosecution on charges of fatally stabbing his fellow Indian colleague following a dispute linked to previous work-related problems.
According to a security source cited by Al-Anbaa, the Ministry of Interior’s operations room received a report of a violent fight inside a farm in the Al-Abdali area. Security personnel rushed to the scene and found an Indian expatriate, born in 1992, dead from multiple stab wounds.
Initial investigations indicated that the alleged assailant, also an Indian national and born in 1996, had fled the scene.
Detectives intensified their search and eventually located the suspect hiding inside another farm in the area. During questioning, he reportedly confessed to the killing, telling investigators that a dispute had escalated between him and the victim following earlier disagreements.
Investigators included the suspect’s confession and the knife allegedly used in the stabbing in the case file before referring him to the Public Prosecution for further investigation and legal action.
