Indian expatriate and his five friends struck gold, sharing a prize of $1 million.

DUBAI, Oct 25, (Agencies): In the most recent draw for the Dubai Duty-Free Millennium Millionaire and Finest Surprise promotion at Dubai International Airport, an Indian expatriate and his five friends struck gold, sharing a prize of $1 million.

Namasivayam Hariharan, a 40-year-old Indian national residing in Dubai for the past 26 years, emerged as the lucky winner of $1 million in Millennium Millionaire Series 438. What makes this win even more remarkable is that Hariharan split the ticket cost with his five close friends, who have been participating in the Dubai Duty-Free promotion for three years. They had a unique strategy of rotating the name on the ticket for each series they purchased.

Hariharan, who is a dedicated father of three and holds a senior technician position, expressed his gratitude for the win, acknowledging it as a blessing. He originally hails from Kerala, India.

After the Millennium Millionaire presentation, the draw for two luxury motorbikes took place. Jay Jhaveri, a 45-year-old Indian national based in Sharjah and a five-year participant in the Dubai Duty-Free promotion, realized his dream by winning an Indian Scout motorbike. Jhaveri is a store manager for a jewelry retailer.

“I'm thrilled to have finally won something big," said Jhaveri, visibly excited.

Last but not least, Premlal Gopinadhan, a 36-year-old Indian national based in Oman, celebrated his win of a Harley-Davidson Sportster S motorbike. Despite being a relative newcomer to Dubai Duty-Free promotions, Gopinadhan was overjoyed at his early success.

Gopinadhan, a father of two, currently works for a petroleum firm. These fortunate winners celebrated their unexpected windfall with gratitude and enthusiasm, making the Dubai Duty Free draw a memorable event for all.
