KUWAIT CITY, Oct 17 : An Indian expatriate has filed a police complaint accusing an unidentified tow truck driver of assaulting him and damaging his vehicle during an incident near a hospital in Mahboula.

According to a security source, the complainant told police that the incident occurred near the hospital and said he did not know the driver's identity.

The expatriate submitted a preliminary medical report documenting abrasions and scratches on his face and neck. He also reported that the handle of his vehicle's door was damaged during the incident.

The complainant provided police with the tow truck's license plate number to help identify the driver.

After registering a case of assault and property damage, police attempted to contact the phone number displayed on the tow truck to obtain the driver's statement. However, the phone was switched off.

The case has been referred to the competent authorities for further investigation. Police are working to identify and locate the driver using the vehicle's registration details and other available information before taking the necessary legal measures and hearing his account of the allegations.
