KUWAIT CITY, Nov 17: The Embassy of India in Kuwait is pleased to announce the launch of “Indian Business Network (IBN)”, which will be Embassy’s business outreach platform, says a press release issued by the embassy.

The IBN is part of Embassy’s efforts to enhance the existing institutional linkages between business communities of India and Kuwait and to create sustainable, long-term partnerships between them. In this regard, all Indian businesses in Kuwait, across all sectors, including small and medium enterprises (SMEs), are advised to register with the network and be a part of this outreach initiative, which also envisages to promote Aatmanirbhar Bharat (Self- Reliant) India program in Kuwait.

Meanwhile, a Digital Open House will be held at the Indian Embassy in Kuwait, Wednesday, Nov 25, at 3:30 pm, says a press release issued by the embassy.

The regular weekly Open House sessions which were being held at Embassy auditorium were discontinued in early September due to the evolving COVID-19 pandemic. It has been decided to re-launch digitally the Open House which will be attended by the ambassador H.E. Sibi George. The theme of the November Open House is ‘Amnesty and Registration Drive at the Embassy’.

The Open House is open to all Indian nationals in Kuwait. Those interested can register by sending their details including full name as mentioned in the passport, passport number, Civil ID number, contact number and address in Kuwait, along with a summary of the issues likely to be raised in the Open House, through an email to community.kuwait@mea. gov.in. Those registered will be intimated on the meeting ID and other details.
