KUWAIT CITY, Oct 28: The Embassy of India in Kuwait observed Special Campaign 6.0 for Swachhata (cleanliness) on October 28, focusing on workplace hygiene, the disposal of obsolete records and electronic waste (e-waste), and improved office management.

The initiative is part of the Government of India's nationwide campaign to promote cleanliness in government offices, improve workplace efficiency and encourage environmentally responsible practices.

As part of the campaign, the Embassy undertook activities to maintain cleanliness and hygiene across its premises, with particular emphasis on the proper segregation and environmentally responsible disposal of e-waste.

The initiative also recognized the contribution of Safai Mitras, or cleaning and sanitation workers, whose dedicated efforts help maintain a clean, healthy and well-organized working environment within the Embassy.

Special Campaign 6.0 places particular emphasis on effective e-waste management, alongside broader efforts to improve cleanliness, streamline office operations and promote sustainable practices.

The Embassy reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the Government of India's ongoing efforts to strengthen cleanliness, environmental responsibility and efficient office management.
