KUWAIT CITY, Nov 27: The Indian Embassy has issued a warning to the public about the growing number of fraudulent websites falsely claiming to provide Indian e-Visa services for foreign nationals traveling to India. According to the Embassy, several third-party platforms have been misleading applicants, with some reportedly involved in financial scams.
Among the fake websites identified are:
indianimmigration.org
idiasevisa.org
evisaentry.com
india-immi.org
ivisa.com and
india-evisa.it.com.
The Embassy stressed that there is only one official Government of India portal for e-Visa applications: www.indianvisaonline.gov.in , and urged all travelers to use this website exclusively. Officials cautioned that using unauthorized platforms could lead to fraud, financial loss, and misuse of personal information, and advised applicants to remain vigilant when applying for visas online.
