Indian Embassy in Kuwait Suspends Saudi Transit Visa Facilitation

KUWAIT CITY, Apr 15: The Embassy of India in Kuwait has announced the immediate discontinuation of the facilitation of Saudi transit visas for Indian nationals, which was previously processed through the embassy.

According to an advisory issued on April 15, 2026, the suspension comes into effect due to the upcoming Hajj season in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The embassy stated that it will no longer accept or process any requests for Saudi transit visas under the previous arrangement until further notice.

Indian nationals intending to travel via Saudi Arabia have been advised to contact their respective airlines directly for updated immigration requirements, transit procedures, and visa-related formalities before making travel plans.
