KUWAIT CITY, Feb 2: Officials from the Indian Embassy in Kuwait have met with Indian nationals stranded in the country following the temporary shutdown of airspace amid the evolving regional security situation.
According to the embassy, several Indian passengers exited Kuwait International Airport and are currently staying in various hotels across Kuwait City, while a smaller number remain accommodated at airport hotels.
The mission said arrangements have been made to ensure the well-being and stay of the affected nationals. Embassy officials are maintaining continuous contact with the concerned airlines to facilitate onward travel as soon as flights resume.
The embassy also expressed appreciation to Kuwaiti authorities and airline operators for their support and cooperation in assisting the stranded passengers.
