Indian ‘Deportee’ hoodwinks cops

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 17: Security operatives from Farwaniya Command arrested an Indian expatriate who escaped from Kuwait International Airport last Wednesday while he was about to be deported, reports Al-Qabas daily. A security source said detectives apprehended the suspect at a shopping complex in Jahra Governorate and he claims to have deceived the officers who took him to the airport and other deportees to facilitate the escape. He has since been referred to the authority.
