KUWAIT CITY, Oct 14: An Indian expatriate was arrested in Salmiya area in possession of 17 bottles of locally manufactured liquor. According to security sources, Hawally securitymen were patrolling Salmiya area when they noticed a man walking and holding a large black bag. They stopped him and checked his details to discover he is an Indian.
They checked his bag to find 17 bottles of locally manufactured liquor. When questioned, he confessed that he was planning to sell them to his compatriot clients. He was arrested and referred with the liquor bottles to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action. Meanwhile, an Egyptian expatriate was arrested in Hawally area in possession of a cigarette rolled with hashish. He was arrested and referred to the Drugs Control General Department for investigations.
