KUWAIT CITY, June 27: Indian Ambassador to Kuwait Paramita Tripathi reaffirmed India's commitment to strengthening its strategic partnership with Kuwait during a media luncheon held at Mughal Mahal, emphasizing the vital role of the media in fostering mutual understanding and enhancing relations between the two friendly nations.

The luncheon, attended by representatives from local media organizations, was organized as part of the Indian Embassy's ongoing efforts to promote open dialogue with the press and encourage discussions on issues of shared interest.

She noted that regular engagement between diplomatic missions and media institutions plays an important role in strengthening transparency, building public understanding and supporting efforts to further deepen bilateral ties.

The ambassador said that since assuming her diplomatic post in Kuwait, she has made it a priority to expand engagement with a broad spectrum of stakeholders, including government agencies, business leaders, civil society organizations, educational institutions and media representatives.

She also praised the Indian community in Kuwait—one of the country's largest expatriate communities—for its significant contribution to Kuwait's growth and development across various sectors.

Tripathi reaffirmed that the Indian Embassy remains committed to safeguarding the welfare and interests of Indian nationals living in Kuwait while continuing to promote cooperation between the two countries in trade, investment, education, culture and other areas of mutual benefit.
