KUWAIT CITY, May 25: On the occasion of Eid Al-Adha, the Ambassador of India to Kuwait, Mrs. Paramita Tripathi, conveyed warm greetings and heartfelt felicitations to His Highness the Amir, His Highness the Crown Prince, the Government of Kuwait, and the people of the country.

In her message, the ambassador stated, "On the joyous occasion of Eid Al-Adha, the Ambassador of India to Kuwait, Mrs. Paramita Tripathi, extended her warmest greetings and heartiest felicitations to His Highness the Amir, His Highness the Crown Prince, the Government, and the friendly people of the State of Kuwait.

Eid Al-Adha is a time of faith, sacrifice, compassion, and generosity. It inspires us to strengthen the bonds of humanity, solidarity, generosity, and mutual respect.

The festival is celebrated with great devotion and warmth in India as families gather for special prayers, exchange greetings, share festive meals, and extend charity to the less fortunate, reflecting the country’s rich traditions of harmony, unity, and cultural diversity.

India and Kuwait share deep historical ties and an enduring friendship built on trust and people-to-people connections. The friendly ties were elevated to a Strategic Partnership during the visit of HE Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to Kuwait in December 2024, and have since witnessed continued development in political, economic, cultural, and people-to-people relations.

I extend my sincere appreciation to the brotherly Kuwaiti authorities for the care and support extended to the more than 1 million strong Indian community in Kuwait, who value the warmth, respect, and the opportunities available in Kuwait. The ties existing between the Kuwaiti and the Indian peoples represent a distinguished model of coexistence and cooperation.

I look forward to continue to work towards further strengthening our bilateral relations in a way that serves the interests of both our friendly countries and peoples.

I pray that this blessed occasion brings peace, prosperity, security, stability, good health, and happiness to the friendly people of Kuwait and to all celebrating around the world. I pray that God Almighty may protect Kuwait, its wise and benevolent leadership, and its friendly and brotherly people.

Eid Mubarak.
