India Stands with UAE, Condemns Fujairah Attack and Backs Regional Stability

NEW DELHI, May 5: India has strongly condemned the recent attack in Fujairah that left three Indian nationals injured, describing the incident as “unacceptable” and urging an immediate halt to hostilities. In an official statement, the Ministry of External Affairs stressed the need to end attacks on civilian infrastructure and innocent lives, while reiterating India’s commitment to dialogue and diplomacy to restore peace and stability across West Asia.

The ministry also emphasized the importance of ensuring free and unimpeded navigation through the Strait of Hormuz in accordance with international law, highlighting the strategic significance of the vital energy corridor. India affirmed its readiness to support all efforts aimed at achieving a peaceful resolution to the ongoing tensions.
