India Condemns Attack on Kuwait Airport, Expresses Condolences Over Death of National

NEW DELHI, Jun 3: The Government of India has strongly condemned the attack on Kuwait International Airport, in which an Indian national was killed and several others were injured.

In an official statement issued by the Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi described the targeting of civilian infrastructure as unacceptable and reiterated its long-standing position that civilian populations and facilities must not be attacked under any circumstances. India also called for an immediate cessation of such hostilities.

The statement conveyed deep condolences to the bereaved family and confirmed that the Indian Embassy in Kuwait is extending all possible assistance to the injured, while remaining in close contact with local authorities regarding the welfare of Indian nationals.

It further noted that Indian missions across the region have been placed on alert and continue to actively support and monitor the safety of the Indian community amid the ongoing situation.
