LAS VEGAS, Sept 26, (Agencies): Adele has once again sparked speculation about her marital status with boyfriend Rich Paul. During her Weekends with Adele residency show at The Colosseum in Las Vegas on September 23, the singing sensation playfully referred to herself as the sports agent’s “wife” while discussing sports.

In a video that quickly made the rounds on social media, Adele confessed that she’s been grappling with the intricacies of American football, a sport unfamiliar to her in her native England. She humorously admitted, “I have spent a lot of my time trying to understand and also enjoy American football, ’cause I love sports. I actually love watching sports. I just don’t understand the game, and it’s so annoying because I’m actually quite a clever person. Why does the whistle always get blown? Why is it four yards? Why are there inches? Why does it stop when it gets exciting?”

She went on to jest about her perceived lack of football knowledge, saying, “I’m not the greatest wife, really, when it comes to football—even though my partner absolutely loves it.”

This playful hint at marriage follows Adele’s recent reference to Rich Paul as her “husband” at another Las Vegas show just two weeks prior. The Grammy-winning artist began dating sports agent Rich Paul in 2021, marking her first publicly confirmed long-term relationship since her divorce from charity entrepreneur Simon Konecki. Their divorce was finalized three years after Adele initially filed the petition in 2019.
