LONDON, Oct 11, (Agencies): Kate Middleton and Prince William, like any other married couple, face the age-old question at mealtimes - who's going to take charge in the kitchen?!
During a mental health forum aired on BBC Radio 1 in collaboration with the charity The Mix, the royal duo made an appearance on "Going Home with Vick and Jordan" on Radio 1. The hosts quizzed them about their dinner plans when they returned to their Windsor home, leading to a lighthearted revelation from Prince William regarding his tolerance for spicy food.
In the interview recorded on Tuesday, Kate, 41, asked her husband, "Are you cooking?"
To this, William, 41, responded, "No, I think it will probably be a curry, won't it, tonight?"
Playfully, Kate inquired, "So you're looking at me?"
William jokingly replied, "It depends on what time we get back." Kate chimed in, "Yeah, it probably will be a curry or teriyaki salmon, something like that."
The Radio 1 hosts then delved into the spiciness of their curries, asking if they preferred them hot or mild.
William candidly admitted, "I can't handle too much spice; I start sweating. It's not an attractive look."
Kate, on the other hand, shared, "I enjoy the spice, so I have to cook the curry and then add the extra spice at the end."
Earlier in the forum, which coincided with World Mental Health Day, the couple participated in workshops. Kate and other attendees took turns describing emotions from an emotion wheel while the rest of the group had to guess the feelings. Kate also delivered a speech encouraging everyone to come together to "build a brighter, more resilient future."
