KUWAIT CITY, Feb 13: The Director-General of the General Administration of Customs has issued instructions to temporarily ban the import of all types of live birds, hatching eggs and one-day-old chicks from France, Iran, Belgium, Pakistan and Bulgaria, reports Al-Qabas daily. This decision comes due to the emergence of highly pathogenic H5N1 avian influenza in those countries.
